On February 26, 1918, science fiction legend Theodore Sturgeon was born. While not the most famous name in sci-fi, Sturgeon is one of those authors who is ‘your favorite writer’s favorite writer.’ His novel More Than Human is a masterpiece of the genre, the tale of six separate individuals who blend their minds together into a gestalt consciousness, the step forward in human evolution. It’s a real mind bender that we can’t recommend enough. Sturgeon also wrote hundreds of fiction reviews as well as multiple episodes of the original Star Trek series.
