Happy Halloween

 As a horror publisher, Halloween is a party at M Presents. If you haven't already picked up a copy, Liminal Madness was just released last month. Don't forget about Madness by Firelight, Dead of Winter, Descent Into Madness, Enter Madness, or any of the other M Presents titles. If you're looking for a last-minute TTRP game to play, M Presents also has several titles for the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game by Chaosium and the recently released SCP:0 game offers players a chance to fight and capture horrors.

Holiday Shopping

 Holiday shopping in the United States is underway as people begin searching for deals to purchase toys and games for their children (or themselves). Buying books is no different, but there is an important date to remember: December 6, 2025. According to the printer M Presents utilizes through our distributor Draft2Digital, paperback print orders MUST be made before December 6th to ensure they arrive by Christmas (delivered by December 24th). 

However, that date assumes there are no delays for any reason! Let's be honest, in the chaotic month of December, delays will happen. Packages might be sorted to the wrong location and rerouting can add days if not weeks, people get sick so production slows, and there is the ever-present risk of the printers running into technical problems. So order early; maybe put an order in before Thanksgiving. M Presents isn't offering any sales until the yearly after-Christmas ebook sale and any sales offered by retailers like Amazon and Barnes & Noble will be limited.

I understand the temptation to look for deals and it's fine to wait until the Black Friday-Cyber Monday sales happen but remember that the more you delay, the more you risk. Go to a physical store that weekend to shop and order online as-soon-as-possible.

**UPDATE 11/4/25**

DrivethruRPG, the distributor for games such as SCP:0, has reported that buying any book classified as a hardback (such as the printed format of the SCP:0 core book) MUST be ordered by November 22 so that your order arrives before Christmas (digital orders are still delivered immediately). So get your orders in! Link in the menu to the left.

Not funded

It's a little disappointing to say that SCP;0 didn't reach it's funding goal; but I am happy to know that there was some support. I think that I know where the hurdles to success were and the next game release on KS won't suffer the same way.

SCP:0 wasn't all that original, meant more to play in the SCP universe which has potential to be exciting but encountering famous SCPs was never the intention of the game.

The core book and one scenario will release this month, more will release in the coming months. I will also release a quick start, probably free as a digital release or pay for a physical copy. And, of course, writers should feel free to submit scenario concepts (I will release something official soon).

I won't say too much about the next game I intend to release but I will say... dinosaurs.

 Through July, many M Presents Publishing books are on sale. Just go to smashwords.com, you can search M Presents, Michael Bertolini, or Alan Dark to see what's available. Titles, such as the entirety of the Enter Madness anthology series, is on sale.

End of days

The game SCP:0 is coming to an end in a few days on Kickstarter. We are only at 23% but there's still time to support the project! In the event that the project doesn't get funded in the next few days, the core books will release and at least once scenario will release relatively immediately for a higher price than backing the kickstarter. Two more scenarios are outlined and will release eventually, but that won't be immediate. Thank you for your support and please encourage your family and friends to support the campaign.

Back SCP:0 On Kickstarter!

 Coming soon on Kictstarter is my first full-fledged RolePlaying Game, SCP:0. I'm not going to post too many details just yet, just know that it should start before the end of the month. The game utilizes the Year:0 engine (hence the name) and fits snuggly in the horror genre. Aside from the core rule book, backers can pick up game modules.
